 t all started with a sunny afternoon in 2025: 15 small and niche venues me
 t up in Rotterdam to find the answer to a burning question: How do we coll
 ectively get ourselves off Instagram?Over the years\, we’ve become compl
 etely dependent on social media. And what a utopia that is: Constantly tai
 loring your content to their algorithmic rules\, while no one can even fin
 d your posts because of that same algorithm. Oh\, and if your politics don
 ’t align with big tech\, you might find your account suspended without r
 eason one day.On top of that\, social media has become so dominant in the 
 world of communication that many small venues don’t even have a website 
 anymore—you can only find them on Instagram. That’s gotta change!We’
 ve concluded that we’re tired. Tired of platforms\, tired of constant ma
 intenance\, tired of all the obstacles. We want to organize cool events\, 
 while knowing that people actually get to see our love and labor.prikbord.
 page offers an alternative information route. This website is accessible t
 o all\, built by and for venues\, and both the code and the server are wit
 hin our reach in Rotterdam.prikbord.page has:\n\n 	no algorithms\n 	no str
 ict curation or difficult delivery specs\n 	multiple ways to post your eve
 nts automatically (e.g. through your website or Stager)\n 	a print functio
 n that turns a single event or calendar into a funky poster for you to pri
 nt (!)\n 	a quirky design ideology\n 	an open-source repository: our code 
 can be adopted by other cities if they wish\n\nThe first version of prikbo
 rd.page will launch at Roodkapje West on Friday\, May 29\, in the afternoo
 n. Do you organize cultural or artistic events\, and/or do you have a nich
